Being describes the soul or spirit, whether our physical body is alive or dead
An earthbound spirit (ghost) is a human being. This awareness should make it easier for one to shift their consciousness and see why it is important to help them.
If we think of ghosts as some intangible substance it may be easy to treat them without regard. But when we die, it’s the physical body that dies; we need to remember that our spirit is our very essence.
An earthbound spirit is simply a spirit that has become stuck on the earth plane.
At what point do people stop caring about the [earthbound] spirit? How does one lose track of the point that this is a fellow human being?
As of this writing, Caylee Marie Anthony, has been missing for 11 weeks. Her story has been so widespread in the media that they are concerned about getting a fair trail for her mother who is a “person of concern” in her daughter’s disappearance. Sadly, when I tuned into little Caylee, she was traumatized and confused, screaming “Mommy, mommy, mommy” to no avail.
I use an example that is fresh in people’s minds and hearts for good reason.
· At what point will our society accept allowing little Caylee to be exploited?
· At what point will ghost hunter groups flock to the area to find proof of her death?
· Does it matter whether her spirit is actually earthbound or whether all that remains is residual energy from the emotional intensity that impressed itself in the area where she was murdered?
Karmic laws still apply to our actions and nonactions toward the earthbound spirit. Law of attraction applies, too; when people attract an earthbound spirit they can learn valuable lessons, just as with the living.
I recall A New Earth (italicized book title) author Eckhart Tolle discussing with Oprah how “mental labeling” desensitizes us, and even leads to violence or losing our sense of humanity. When dealing with spirit(s), we need to realize that we’re not dealing with something, but someone.
We shouldn't care whether their physical body is alive or not. If we chose to lead with our heart, we will want them to be healed, not to continue suffering. Coming to terms with these realizations can open us up to a higher level of consciousness.
May these words speak to the humanitarian in each of us.
One who wishes to help rather than ignore or exploit a human soul.

Helping Caylee, A Mediums Point of View
Helping Caylee Marie Anthony
I’d barely heard of Nancy Grace until coming across the story of little Caylee Marie Anthony during an August night of channel surfing. Since then I’ve faithfully followed her story, hoping each day will be the day they find her. From the beginning I did not have a good feeling about Caylee being alive. When I tuned into Caylee her spirit was confused and frantic, screaming out to her mother, “Mommy, mommy…” She could not understand why her mother wouldn’t acknowledge her. In our culture we seem to almost exclusively focus on “physical bodies”.The real being, our soul or spirit is usually ignored. I say “real” because this part of our being is always alive and indestructible.
What happened to Caylee? When I tuned into the situation leading to the incident, I felt that Cindy and Casey had a very bad argument. Cindy kept calling Casey names, a heathen I believe and was very, very angry with Casey and her lack of focus on her daughter. It was This that made Casey extremely angry and Casey then projected her feelings of rejection onto Caylee who was now the center of her mother’s (Cindy) attention. I believe this is what prompted Casey to kill her daughter. I saw Caylee under water and hope they find her remains. I believe “Anthony/Tony” her boyfriend has knowledge of what happened. How Can We Help the Victim’s of Brutal Crimes?
We have a tremendous ability to help these souls.. As in everyday life, the relatives and those that the victim knows have the greatest capacity for helping.
How would having this awareness change things? If it was me I would ask a medium to connect to Caylee and find out if she was dead or alive. Regardless of my wishing and needing to believe my loved one was alive, regardless of anything I felt, I would have to know whether she needed help and get her that help immediately. If she were deceased I would have her helped out of the trauma and crossed over.
Unintentionally, our culture has a track record of re-victimizing victims. For instance, think about what happens when we have a tragedy like this and we believe it’s better to protect “the living” by covering up to avoid more loss. Society reluctantly understands “Well they lost one child; they can’t bear to lose another. The families reflex may be to believe that too and do their best to move on. But WAIT, WAIT, WAIT! You have not lost a child! Yes, you may have lost their precious body and sadly they will not move forward with you in this physical life. But their spirit is very likely close by and in tremendous pain. Family has the ability to help them.
There is one thing to do when a victim dies, and that is to help them to cross over. This frees them from the trauma and returns them to the light, our home. Our hearts can feel better knowing our loved ones spirit has moved past all the pain. A few weeks ago, I connected with Caylee. It was very hard to get her attention but I finally did by telling her Mommy was sleeping. “Oh” Caylee said, seemingly understanding why her mommy didn’t answer her, hadn’t helped her. Caylee was helped to go back into the light and she is at peace now.
For those who are searching, remember it is best not to call her name, better to ask for her guides, for your guides to help your search. It won’t help her, to call her back to this plane where “Mommy is asleep.” I wanted you all to know that Caylee is okay now. God Bless Caylee, God Bless us all.

How To: Determine How Your Ghost Is Affecting Your Space
Think you have a ghost? Use this guide to determine how your environment is being affected:
A) You know the history of how the ghost died;
If you know the history of how a ghost (earthbound spirit) died, then it is fairly easy to determine how they are impacting a space.
- How they died; The best way to sense the energy impact is to relive the death. As you can imagine a natural death occurring during ones sleep, is far less traumatic then a tragic one. If the way a person died is connected to them being earthbound the energy impact will be more negative. For example, a person who dies tragically on their wedding day might feel shock, loss and a sense of being cheated. They are separated from their loved ones.
- Their state of mind at death; Notice I said state of mind at death, someone may have been jovial and mild-mannered, but if they met a bitter end they could be acting out a more negative state, say anger or revenge.
- What is causing them to be earthbound? The reason a person becomes earthbound is key to the scene and accompanying emotion they are now acting out.
B) If you don't know the history it is more difficult for one who is not sensitive, but not impossible. In this case you must look at the quality of living that takes place in the space:
- How comfortable does everyone feel in the space? Sometimes an owner of spouse feels fine in a space that has a low vibrational energy quality because they have gotten used to it.
- The health of the occupants is a big indicator of the energy in the space.
- Sleep patterns
- Loss or misfortune connected to the space

Q: Why don’t we just call them a soul or spirit then?
Alice Violet: The term ghost is used when a soul or spirit becomes trapped on the physical plane instead of returning to the higher spiritual planes upon death.
Q: How do they become trapped?
Alice Violet: They become trapped due to some trauma or unfinished business.
Q: Does a ghost become bound to one place?
Alice Violet: Yes, they are attached to a place or an object.

She was aware that her husband Frank was in the light and she wanted to be with him but was afraid she could no longer return to the inn if the crossed over.
